EmailPhotos.com Back

Privacy, plainly

EmailPhotos compresses everything in your browser. Photos and videos never hit a server. There's no account to make, nothing to log in to, nothing to sync.

What we collect

Aggregate page traffic only. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics so we can see which articles people find useful: pageviews, rough referrers, country-level location, that kind of thing. No accounts, no advertising, no profiles, no cross-site tracking.

The script may set a cookie or use local storage to deduplicate visits. We don't read it and we don't combine it with anything else.

Your photos and videos are never part of this. They stay on your device.

Where your files go

Files you drop in are processed by a Web Worker running in your tab. The compressed copy lives in memory until you close the page. We don't read it, can't read it, and have no way to retrieve it.

Metadata

By default, EXIF tags (including GPS coordinates and camera info) are stripped during compression, so re-encoded JPEGs come out clean. You can toggle this in Settings.

When you press Send

The Web Share API hands the compressed files to your operating system's share sheet: Mail, Gmail, Messages, AirDrop, whatever you pick. The files travel from your device, not via us.

No accounts. No personal tracking. Aggregate analytics only.
